Our mission is to live a life of service to others.
Tanzania is the largest country in East Africa which has plenty of attractions to satisfy and inspire travellers. For those who love the sun and sand, Tanzania offers up the white sand beaches of Zanzibar. Climbers can stand on top of the “roof of Africa” after the long climb up Mt. Kilimanjaro or go on safari infamous and expansive national parks and conservation areas.
While Tanzania is one of Africa’s most politically stable countries, an extreme poverty (Ranked 151 on the Human Development Index and more than a third of households here get by on less than $1.9 a day), lack of educational resources, and the persistence of the HIV/AIDS epidemic continue to take their toll on the Tanzanian people. Maternal and neonatal mortality rates are high, and only around four in ten children finish their secondary education.
We establish a fund form each payment made for tours to support community programs, including volunteers and unpaid interns program. We don’t intend to supplement their need but wants to join hands with the government to widen the tourism to reach and help all in Tanzania. We want to bring you to different groups, to enjoy their lives and share their difficulties and learn from them. You will get the opportunity to help their needs directly on sites whenever possible. You can give things like clothes, food, education aids, hearing and or walking aids to people with disabilities, sports equipment etc.
Tanzania offers a variety of opportunities in many different sectors for passionate volunteer. Whether you already have training in a particular field or would like to gain experience, there are many established Non-government organizations and non-profits operating in Tanzania that would gladly take your passion and support. Whichever program you choose, Tanzania’s wildlife, cultural diversity, and rich Tanzania history will not disappoint.
You will gain the experience of seeing not only the tourist attractions of Tanzania but also will get an opportunity to adventure the real-life of people. Our job is to make sure all the aids reach the targeted people.
Why we charge a small fee?
The established fund is not enough to support all the expenses of our volunteers and interns, we are charging a small reasonable amount just for the accommodation and hostel construction because our long-term mission is to build a free hostel in Arusha and Kilimanjaro for all of our volunteers and interns, which will allow us to set a very minimal fee of volunteering and internship to cover inhouse groceries.
Note: For those who are doing any tour with or not with us, it is free from any charge.
